同样的题材帕索里尼也拍过，但戈达尔的版本是最离经叛道的吧，借玛丽之口直接控诉上帝。Eva那条线则探讨了人类与世界起源。这个时期的戈达尔似乎很爱用柔和的自然景物空镜头。我看的版本第一部分是疙瘩妻子Miéville拍的短片《玛丽之书》，一个活在音乐与书本世界中的女孩，小玛丽在客厅里看《蔑视》。
