乡村三部曲中隐约出现的死亡命题被当作这部片以自杀的变奏加以呈现。也许是题材本身的严肃性超出了老阿所能把控的范畴，影像中的说教显得特意又刻板。最后老阿强行加入解构之前影像的间离设计，感觉像是江郎才尽，只能用自己擅玩的真假游戏套路给有失水准的影像增加逼格一样。

The acting and cinematography are just brilliant. The movie has incredible energy flowing through, largely due to the unstructured editing -- I have to be honest and say that I personally prefer this kind of narrative structure or a lack thereof. It's queer, it's anarchy, it's fun, it's one person making the world in her own image.
